I've been experiencing very slow performance on my Yoga 3 11 for several months now. I finally traced the problem via a 3rd party forum. It seems that since a Windows or BIOS update my system has been throttled due to BD PROCHOT being set. This slows down the processor to less than 0.5 GHz at all times. Using the free utility ThrottleStop I was able to change this setting back to unthrottled. My system now runs 2 - 3x faster at 1.0 to 1.5 GHz and with no overheating penalty. Performance is back to what it was months ago. I think Lenovo should have sent out a patch to correct this problem; they still should. We should not have to run an outside utility to correct an incompatibility between the current BIOS and Windows 10 versions. Thank you.
