Hi ryeroo,

Any usb dock should work with this unit, have a look on the Lenovo website under the Think section to see the ones available from Lenovo.

Hope this help you and let us know how you get on

Would be nice if they had SD card readers, since those were removed from the laptop.

Re: Suggested dock for yoga 910

I have just been through the ringer, trying to find a dock that is compatible with the Yoga 910 and here's what I've learned:

There is none.

If you speak with Lenovo direct, they will tell you that they have not manufactured one that is compatible and the reason for this is, Yoga's are intended more for a multimedia experience, not for serious office use (wished I'd known this at the time I purchased it from Harvey Norman... Might have gone the HP Spectre instead...)

I did however get from the tech guy I spoke to (not just the online sales guy, because he admitted that he didn't have the answers I needed) that they DO intend to make one in the future, but there is absolutely no date flagged for it yet. So just a matter of checking back.

I can also definitively say that the Dell W15 dock does NOT work with the Yoga, no matter how hard you try, so don't go down that route. It's been a frign nightmare and no amount of BIOS updates or drivers will make them talk.

My requirements for a dock are just because I want to plug into a screen and printer at home, so for the minute, a USB-C > HDMI has been sufficient, and the printer just plugs into my USB-A port. Anything more than that, I have to juggle, but not a big deal for the moment.

Re: Suggested dock for yoga 910

I thought this too, but if you speak to Lenovo tech staff, they will tell you it isn't compatible. There isn't a single dock they produce that is... See my post below. Smiley Sad

Re: Suggested dock for yoga 910

I've seen people and the reviews saying this one works: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Thunderbolt-Compatible-Adapter/dp/B00X4S5C7G

Here's a hub with even more ports that's also reported to work: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Multiport-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B01C316EIK#Ask

There are a few adapters on Lenovo's site, like this for USB C to VGA: http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:item.detail?...

Or this for USB C to HDMIhttp://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:item.detail?hide_menu_area=true&GroupID=460&Code=GX90M44577

Re: Suggested dock for yoga 910

Is there a solution for this request?

I want to use a dock with multiple connected monitors as well as the power cord, and then connect that dock with a single usb-c cable to my Yoga 910 hooking up the externals as well also providing the power to the pc.

I have tried some minidocks to connect my monitors as well as the power cord.

  1. I get errors when then attaching the dock to the "powered" usb-c port.
  2. When instead connecting the dock to the non-powered usb-c port I cannot provide the power through the dock.

Why are the usb-c ports not set up to support power transfer as well as connecting external monitors?
