Thinkpad Yoga 12 Wacom Pen

2016-01-17, 20:25 PM

Hi Guys,

Need help. My companies IT dept have not been able to assist so I thought I would try sort it myself.

I have a Yoga 12 i5 Ultrabook that comes with a little black stylus in the bottom right corner near to the Thinkpad logo. I believe this is a Wacom product.

I am running Windows 10 64bit

My problem is that my Yoga does not seem to recognise the little fella. I have trolled forums etc and it is supposed to be located in the Device Manager but it is not found there.

i have tried to download drivers etc. to no avail.

I am not very clued up on PC's so if you have any suggestions for me, please dumb it down a lot...

I would really like to get this pen to work as I used it a lot on my previous system X200T

All assistance would be appreciated :)

I just purchased a new wacom digitizer pen & have the same problem as you -- the pen is not recognized at all.

After reading your post, I found that there was maybe a digitizer pen located at the place you described. The question is -- how to take it out of the slot?

Thanks.

You just slide it out the slot. It has a red button and a rough-edged section just on the corner. Hook it with your right thumb nail and slide out to your right.
