Re: Touchscreen not working

Hi VytautasAl,

Thanks for the reply.

Go to device manager and see if the HID(Human interface Devices) is enabled or not. To enable it please follow the steps

1 Navigate to device manager

2 under device manager navigate to option “Human interface Devices”

3 Expand to find HID compliant touch screen or “HID-compliant

4 Enable it if disabled.

Even after enabling the HID if it doesn’t work than please contact the tech support team or locate the nearest service center

Hope the above information helps and please let us know how you go about.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Re: Touchscreen not working

I have the same problem. My computer does not contain HID compliant touch screen item under device manager and HID(Human interface Devices) listing, although I have the touch tab installed. Touch screen is obviously not installed, since I could not even find it in a hidden fashion or as such. I guess this explains why ı cannot use the touch screen.

As far as I see, other laptop brands solve this missing part via simple links to pages enabling users to upload the HID compliant touch screen item. I hope you may provide me such an help, too.
