Two of the 3 USB ports (the non charging ports) have stopped working on my Yoga 3 Pro, The charging port works for both charging and USB when not charging. I tried flashing bios, uninstalling the USB drivers, reinstalling the USB drivers, just about everything I can find here except removing the battery and reconnecting. When resuming from sleep I get a notification of a Power Surge on the USB port. There's nothing connected to my USB ports. Clicking Reset or Close makes no difference. Device manager says USB components are working normally. Diagnostics fails for USB with this code: W1SCEXKK9-R6JLBC. Anyone have any suggestions?

1. When you get the notification of a Power Surge, is the charging port connected?
2. You may wish to contact Tech Support as it could be a hardware issue with the motherboard.

I get the notice with it connected or not. I let it discharge completely and then held the power button down for a minute, recharged and restarted. No notice on boot. Device manager says all are working properly. Ran diagnostics and USB fails with code: WMB010000-UM7X7F. There is no power to the non-charging ports. Charging port works fine both to charge and as USB.
Notices popup when resuming from sleep. If I do nothing, there will be 4 of them and then they stop. If I click on them then I get the mesage and option to Reset or Close. If I click Reset then I continously get the message until I click Close.

Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Thank you for your suggestions. The battery is internal. See my previous note. I did discharge the battery completely and then recharged and no change. Before that, I tried powering on by holding the power button down for 30 seconds. Still no change. Removing the battery is tricky but I've done it on another Yoga and was successful. I'll try that next.

My two ports on my yoga pro 1320 have stopped working. Took in for repair - worked - then stopped and tech says cannot get working again and thinks its the mother board associated with the ports - maybe shorting out? He says part is $350 is it worth it to pay for this get this repaired? This computer is not new - but I really dont feel like transferring all my data and dealing wit all that set-up? Is port thing a common problem? I see a lot of request for help! Help!
