Hi there, Jerryswho     -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

Could you please past here the whole export of following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\System Update

Also in case you want to dig a bit deeper into this, then you can do following:

- make sure, that TVSU and his processes are not started in Task manager.

in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\System Update\Preferences\UserSettings\General

and change the value of "DebugEnable"  to YES .

Start TVSU and try to repro this situation.

This change will force TVSU to create a detailed log file in following folder:

%programfiles%\Lenovo\System Update\logs

Update us how it goes.

Regards,

I have encountered the exact same situation as Jerryswho. I also have a Yoga 2 Pro. The process is stuck at 15% in the downloading step. The very unhelpful error message is "An error occurered while downloading packages." I have restarted windows. I have checked the taskmanager for TSVU. I have fully updated Windows 10. I am not prepared to mess around with the Registry. It seems to me that Lenovo has a problem that should be solved without extensive computer sleuthing by your users. I look forward to success after you have corrected the matter at your end.

I also have the same problem and also have a Yoga 2 Pro. In my case it never worked, I thought that it was just for Thinkpad series. but when I installed Windows 10, System Update installed automatically and if so it should work no?

You should be able to download the latest driver and system updates from here: http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/nz/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-2-pro-lenovo/downloads
