Unable to dual boot on Lenovo Yoga 310 11|AP

Hi,

I have attempted to run the android x86 PC OS and the Linux Ubuntu on my Lenovo laptop by booting these from a pen drive.

Howeve, once the laptop restarts, after the initial Lenovo Logo just a blank screen is shown.

Kindly help me perform this dual boot since I need some light weight OS to run on this system to perform my tasks

Thanks.

Re: Unable to dual boot on Lenovo Yoga 310 11|AP

1. Start.

2. Settings (cogwheel).

3. Updates and Security

4. Recovery.

5. Advanced startup - Restart now.

Worth noting that once you pick "Use a device (Use USB ...)" you might/should get an "error" saying it's not supported, but if your USB is plugged in before restarting, it should still be listed in the next screen as a boot option. I managed to boot Mint that way, no regrets so far.
