I know there is a security cover/slider for the camera. When I use Skype or the Windows camera app I see a grey box with a picture of a camera with a line through it. I do see a small LED light next to the camera come on. That's a good sign but still cannot see myself. The F8 key hasn't helped in this case.

Removed the updated driver (BisonAzurewave 18.104.22.168_Chicony 10.0.16299.20039) that I had installed at an earlier point and now the camera works. Using the orginal one dated 2006.

Problem is back again! WTH. It keeps installing the May 2018 driver. I can uninstall the camera via Device Manager and have it delete that driver but on reboot it keeps loading it anyway. One time it did put the 2006 driver back, work briefly then failed. Noticed it updated to the 2018 driver even though I asked for it to be deleted. What's with this PC! Battery and camera issues!!

Found a Solution when i disabled the Privacy Mode in Lenovo Vantage under the Camera Settings.
This wasn't available to change anywhere else... Bad Design i would say
Hope that helps.

I'll have to make a note. I ran into a problem after an update back then with windows. So I ended up doing a restore of a full backup and then Windows pushed the update out for the camera and that driver worked anyway.
