Unsatisfactory: 2nd fan replacement in 14 months! Yoga 720 13"

First,  a few months after purchase (covered by warranty). Then just after warranty ended. I take scrupulous care of the computer. 95% of the time it sits on a desk. 5% I carry it in a double padded case. No dust or other obstruction inside. My computer tech guy said very thin fan design is very fragile. I have owned many Lenovos in the past. Hard to imagine buying another.

Were you able to bring the laptop again to a technician to have it checked? Is there a noise coming from the fan? Is it a whistling or a rattling sound?

Yes, noise from the fan, plus running inconsistantly. Took it to be checkd at a trusted repair shop. They saw no dust/dirt but determined the fan itself was damaged. They replaced it and it's now fine. But as I said, this is the 2nd replacement in 14 months. Since I take very good care of the computer, rarely even moving it off my desk, I suspect quality control or design issues. This is getting both inconvenient and expensive.
