Please can anyone tell me where I can get an upgraded NVMe SSD drive for my Yoga 530-14AA?
Weirdly Lenovo decided to put in a B+M M.2 slot into this laptop, so it appears I'm quite limited in terms of upgrades.
It currently has a Toshiba (2242 size) 256gb NVMe drive, p/n: KBG30ZMT256G
I believe there is a larger Toshiba NVMe 512gb drive, which would be a direct replacement (and fit the 2242 screw hole), p/n: KBG30ZMT512G, but I can't see where I would be able to buy this from, it looks like OEM only - can it be purchased from Lenovo?
My laptop has a cutout for the larger 2280 SSDs, but no fixing screw at this location - extremely frustrating, thanks Lenovo! I could fairly easily fabricate some sort of fixing to hold the drive down, but I'm limited by the B+M slot that again, frustratingly, Lenovo decided to fit instead of the more upto date slot that Samsung uses for their 970 EVO and PRO NVMe drives
Thanks in advance

As shown here in the parts lookup tool, compatible 512GB m.2 2242 PCIe NVMe SSD storage are offered along with its substitutes.
Here is the article guide for searching and ordering parts from OEM .
You can try Lenovo encompass and Medion if they would also be able to ship on your location. Upgrades is not limited to OEM brands strickly speaking as other resellers may offer like Crucial as long as specifications are met and return options are checked.
I hope this helps answer your query.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!
I had a good look through on the parts website and not a single SSD appears to be available for my laptop... this is a brand new laptop, as of 3 months ago. I realise the 530 has been out for a little while, but it's still on their website. Every SSD says not available or out of stock though..
Why would there not be a single replacement or upgradeable SSD available to buy?
I had a look online and the only other 2242 size nvme appears to be the Toshiba RC100 - but I cannot find this available to buy anymore online.
I guess it leaves me with the only option of going for a higher capacity and larger 2280 sized M2 sata SSD like the Crucial MX500 that isn't an NVMe drive - I would then need to find a way to hold the drive down without the screw.
If anyone else has any ideas, please chip in!

There are available OEM suggested parts from the parts lookup page on highlighted above link by clicking on compatible under configuration and solid state from commodity list. The hardware manual FRU list also would suggest some too.
The mSATA m.2 ssd may not be recognized as it is not supported on this model. Product specification does imply M.2 SSD / PCIe NVMe, PCIe 3.0 instead.

I know what you mean by the storage capacity and availability of the SSDs for this laptop. The main problem is the fact that they use a 2242 port (yes, the screw is at the 2242 position and cannot be relocated) while basically every SSD is 2280. The Intel version uses a regular 2280 screwing and 2280 SSDs, but not the AMD version. The Toshiba/OCZ RC100 is, by the way, just the consumer version of the Toshiba BG3 OEM SSDs, so they are literally the same. The SSDs end at 512GB, if you can find them.
