Which service provider to contact?

I have an issue with my Yoga 720 15". Which service provider do I contact? Can it be anyone of the ones in the list?

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Hi zace,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If you would be from Norway, hardware technical support number is  21 95 94 60 For Lenovo & Idea products #Idea/Lenovo Essential:09:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday .

Service provider list here but each would have their supported product lines.

Here is also the service provider locator that you can try as an option.

Hope this help answer your query.

Regards

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Thank you for the reply.  I am currently staying in Saudi Arabia until the summer, I don't see a contact number for that country, so who should I contact here?

Also I bought the product at BestBuy in USA and was told that the warranty is international, is that the case?

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Hi zace,

Checking the international warranty for the model, Saudi Arabia is not supported.

This is expected for models that are not made available to that location so parts and repair technology is not available.

For in warranty repair, Lenovo US can service the laptop by calling 877-453-6686 or do a chat with them here (change the flag icon and language if needed to enter chat during business hours) to check on your repair options.

Regards

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Okey. Is this model supported in Norway? I mean, what you mentioned:

"If you would be from Norway, hardware technical support number is  21 95 94 60 For Lenovo & Idea products #Idea/Lenovo Essential:09:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday ."

I assume this applies for the model?

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Hi zace

Norway is not also supported for the international warranty now that you mentioned that it was bought in the US.

Listed countries here are the ones covered except resellers would have a separate warranty repair if they offer it on their location.

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Okey, thank you again. Should I then ship the item to a service center in the US, or do I need to deleiver it to them directly by physically going to the service center? And can I contact BestBuy for this, or should I do it through Lenovo US directly?

Re: Which service provider to contact?

Hi zace,

On cases I've seen like yours where it IWS is not available, send the machine back to the US and have your folks call in technical support as your authorized person to manage the service for you. Lenovo would be able to cover parts and labor including the shipping back to the US address.

You can also try best buy if they would have a separate warranty option for you.
