Why do the Yoga line laptops have such a huge bottom bezel?

2019-07-27, 21:10 PM

I like the height of the screen because I don't have to hunch for the screen to be in my line of vision, but why is there such a disproportionately huge bottom bezel? I always wish that it could all just be screen. It would be nice if it was a 3:2 ratio.

I also don't want a screen like the S940 because the screen is too low. It's a reason why I didn't buy a XPS 13 - a friend of mine has to hunch when using it. It looks painful and comedic. I also want to be able to use Windows Ink, and convert the laptop to a tablet.

Hi hegerber,

Greetings.

Usual for laptops that goes to tablet mode is the struggle for a good thumb placement. Having the extra space allows a good grip and avoid the thumb's feedback on the screen.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
