WiFi can't connect to mobile hotspot

2019-10-05, 9:25 AM

Using a Pixel 3 mobile hotspot. My Macbook connects to that hotspot and can access the internet. My Lenovo Yoga 900 used to do the same for about a month. Now, when I try to connect, it says "Checking network requirements" for about 30 seconds, then afterwards, it says "No internet. Secured", and I have no internet access.

I've tried forgetting the mobile hotspot network, renaming it on my Pixel 3 phone, and changing the frequency band.

Hi ,

Sorry for the late reply .

If the problem hasn't been resolvedd yet you can try these steps I provided below.

Uninstall the network adapter.

    1. Right click the windows icon and select device manager.

    2. Expand the Network adapter and uninstall the item that says wireless.

    3. Delete the driver software and restart.

    4. Reconnect to Hotspot and test.

If it does not work continue with the next steps below.

     1. Go to the device manager and then right click the wireless adapter to select properties.

     2. Click the Power Management Tab.

     3. Uncheck the option "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

     4. Restart the computer and test.

Hope this works and let us know how it goes,

Jeremy
