Re: [Y2P] Mouse suggestions

Have had my logitech T630 for a few days now. This is actually the second one, my first one was defective. yes, it is small as heck, cannot rest your hand on it like a traditional mouse. I found that if I just keep it at the tips of my fingers it works exactly as advertised! I really like using it, weird at first for sure. Being able to do most of the gestures on the mouse is frustrating when you close/back out/switch apps inadvertently. After the learning curve, all is good!

I'm using the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth mouse.  I usually prefer the Logitech MX-type mice because of the flywheel scrollwheel and the 'back' button.  But, I don't want the USB dongle.  Also, I can customize the action of swiping up and down on the blue windows button, which allows me to go back and forward in any application.  It's great!  I haven't had any problems with this mouse in a week of steady use (I did disable BT power saving).

I'm a big fan of the Logitech Wireless Trackball M570. It takes a few days to get used to using a trackball instead of moving you hand all over the place.

I can't go back to a regular mouse.

Logitech T630  - it depends what you are using it for. I have the T630 and I actually like it. I use it with setting no.1 for Yoga and no. 2 for my Mac Book Pro. I bought it becaus it was small (it would never replace my desktop mouse) and convinient. It is a very nice little device. The once click button still gives you left and right click - it is a matter of getting used to it. It has a nice little touch pad on the upper surface of the mouse and works surprisingly well (tho not as well as built in touchpad). I had some problems with Blutooth initialy untill I updated drivers on windows 8.1.

If you are in the US you can go to Best Buy and try the mouse there to see if you like it or not.
