Boot into the BIOS screens. If it doesn't flicker there, then it's Windows.

It is not windows. I noticed that one of the middle bottom screws came off. I took a screw from a side and put it in the middle and the flickers stopped. Well after some weeks I still see some flicker occasionally, but not like before. I need a pack of crews to replace the missing one and I didnt get any help from lenovo online chat. I will go to a local computer market to look for some over a weekend. The Yoga 710 repair manual rightly says that loose screws can also cause flicker. But why do they have to make it so frail, it should be rugged.

I had tried updating drivers, BIOS, software settings etc for months to solve screen flicker. I opened the back of the laptop case (special screwdriver), then tightened all ground screws. Flicker is GONE.

I opened the bottom cover and tightened every screw that was visible and accessible. Not all were loose but one or two were not very tight. Then after replacing the bottom cover I tightened all screws. In fact one screw had previously been missing out of the bottom cover, so I went to a local laptop repair shop and bought some fitting screws to replace the missing one. Make sure the bottom cover screws are tight. There are still occasional flickers but its just for few seconds and its very rare. Not like before when I was thinking about major repair or buying a new laptop.
