YOGA 720 - 15 Blistered Battery

Hello everybody,
I recently acquired a Yoga 720 15 (80X7004W). As I would like to extend the RAM I decided today to open the laptop to see if there is an open slot for RAM (yes there is one).
But when I removed the cover, I saw something quite odd : my battery seems to have overheated causing some blistering, visually the surface of the battery is damaged.
I only have my laptop for two weeks, and haven't use in hot conditions. I have used the power adaptor delivered with the laptop. The laptop seems to work fine but I am wondering if it is safe to keep on using it whith the battery in such a state ? Should I send it back to warranty ? (that would be quite annoying as I already waited for a month for it to be delivered !) Is there anywhere I can get a replacement battery ?
Thanks a lot for your help,

I would be concerned about that personally, but I'm not a professional.  I would send it back myself.

Not in a million years would I risk your safety (or a fire) by using a laptop that already has that type of thermal damage with a Li-ion battery.

I would definitely contact support -- with your photos -- and see if they can do an advance exchange for your Yoga.

Best of luck!
