hello, I would like to share problem on YOGA 730 and ask for the solution if you have any idea.
I bought Yoga 730-13IKB in france lenovo official site a month ago.
Here is the problem.
After few usage, the screen start to wave freauently, and finally it start to make black horizontal lines hust like the picture and video.
Then the whole screen flicker (figure 2)
finally, whole screen become black.
This happen more severe and freauently if the anlge of tablet is lore than 180 degree.(due to this i thought it is hardware problem.)
Today, i had online chat with customer center and they recommeded me to do the software update.
I will try this update and report later.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can have the screen checked in the BIOS and see if changing angles will recreate the lines or even the black screen. You can compare the display also by connecting it to any external monitors too.
To access the BIOS, shutdown the machine then press the Novo button (item5 page 10).
If the same lines happen in the BIOS and absent in the external display then best to call in tech support for service.
I hope this helps answer your query.
Update us how things go.

Thanks alot spidey101.
I've tried the Bios update and run diagnostic program from Levono.
As a result, the diagnostic program said there have no software problem.
Also after the BIOS update, the black flickering appeared.
But after several turn off and turn on, it bacame fine.
However for me, it dose not look like permanent.
I will post another thread after one week.
I also attated another video
which the black flickering line move with the 'ms Edge'. This was after the BIOS update.
(it seems this malfunction have problem with blue colar?)

it has been a while since last comment.
I 've updated the system and it was fine at that moment.
after few days of the update, the flickering thing apper agiain
I've also test the external monitor.
The external monitor was always fine even when the main laptop monitor is flickering a lot.
I've tested the screen in BIOS as you recommended to me.
And It was completely fine in BIOS Mode.
Even if i change the angle it was fine.
After the BIOS mode i came back to the normal boot and
i don't know why, but there have no flickering......
I have no idea what is happening to my laptop.
Could this flickering could happen if i didn't trun off my computer for few days?

If after the steps that we tried and you still have the same issue, then we should get technical support a call for service so that they can do a stress test to isolate the point of failure.
You should use the machine with heavy load (like a stress test) to check if that is the trigger for the flickering. Try to notice if any part of the LCD panel is unusual heating like immediate mid bottom or sides compared to other sides of the screen.

I'm having the same issue with my daughter's Yoga 730. She's had the computer for only about 5 days and today the display started flickering. We've rebooted but will need to run the BIOS test stated in this thread. Hoping we're not already having a hardware issue 5 days in to ownership.
