It takes me to all the blue screen diagnostic, reset screens but any option I choose does not work and loops me back to original screens. Windows will not boot. I tried most of the options except for RESET YOUR PC WHICH will delete all my apps but says will save my files...uggh. I can getbto the c prompt screen from these blue diagnostic screens. Thanks for any help.

It's not "bricked" if you can get a C:\ prompt and have the option to do a Reset. The term usually means the device is completely unresponsive to any stimulus like the power or Novo buttons--just like a real brick.
Have you tried all of the procedures described in Chapters 3 and 4 of the User Guide?

While this is a less than ideal solution, it highlights why it's always good practice to make and update frequent backups of critical data. You never know when a HDD or SSD will fail, or the notebook is damaged, lost, stolen, etc.

Let's not parse bricks. It's unusable...so therefore bricked in any vernacular.
I will try to DL those chapters. Thanks for the advice.
