I am having a problem with my new Yoga 13 when trying to tether my Samsung Galaxy S3 via Bluetooth.
I go to add a device in Settings. The devices pair successfully, but the 'Offline' message immediately shows beneath the Phone in devices.
USB tething works fine.
Can anyone help please?

Try the following steps which seem to have worked for me (Apologies for the numbering. It went wonky when I tried to past from a word doc):
i. Search “Bluetooth”
ii. Select “Settings”
iii. Select “Add Bluetooth Device”
i. Select your iPhone 5
Best of luck

Hello Lenovo, I had an email telling me that NINE (Lenovo Staff) replied on 5 Aug but I cannot see it...
NINE did respond as you received the notification that day. Due to a glitch in our forum server happened around that few days it caused some loss of forum posts. I apologize for such inconvenience caused.
We're trying to replicate the issue as mentioned in the first post but had some troubles doing it. NINE will look into it again.

thanks for posting. As Cleo had mentioned I was looking into this issue and must i personally did not face the smae issue as you did. However in my case i am running Windows 8.1 and I also did try with Win 8 earlier. With this being said I was wondering at the the that this issue was happening, I'm assuming that you were running on Win 8. Now that Win 8.1 has been released I would suggest you to perform all windows update and ensure to uninstall and reinstall the BT drivers and try to connect again to the BT. You should be able to connect.
Hope this helps and please do post back your results and concerns. I'll look into this further should you have further issues connecting.

Lenovo yoga 10.1 won't bluetooth pair/tether with iphone5
this thread shows it's a lenovo disaster.
any solutions? firmware upgrade?
The above umpteen step song-and-dance is unacceptable.
btw, my Lenovo W770 bluetooth headset won't pair with the yoga 10.1.
the headset wouldn't pair with my Google Nexus 7.
so the headset is being returned
headset would only pair, immediately, with its own USB dongle plugged into my desktop.
All these devices seems to recognize each other (except the headset, no device sees it, it sees no device), exchange PINs with iphone, but "fail to connect"
