I have tried earphones from multiple vendors (iPad and SkullCandy just now) and none work on my Yoga 13. Plugging earphones in does not stop aucio from the speakers and no audio is delivered to the earphones. I have tried not pushing the jack all the way in and that does nothing. I am on the latest audio driver and Device Manager says everything is working. I have gone into headphones properties and tested them and they do make noise then. It seems like plugging earphones in should disconnect the speakers even if the earphones don't work but that doesn't happen. Anyone know how to get this system tp work the way it should?

I’m sorry to hear that the Earphone is not getting detected in the computer even after installing the latest drivers in the computer. Performing system recovery using the OKR (One Key Recovery) should resolve the issue, below are the steps to perform OKR in the computer:
NOTE: Click here to download the user guide for Yoga 13 Laptop and refer page no.12 to locate the NOVO button and to perform OKR in page no. 24. Please backup the data in the computer before performing OSRI, as the data will be completely erased.
