My Yoga 13 doesn't seem to want to work with HDMI, or my TV doesn't want to. I'm not sure. I have an APEX Digital TV and obviously my Yoga 13 and an HDMI cable but for some reason when I plug my Yoga into the TV, the signal doesn't go through. I know my Yoga has worked with HDMI before cause just two days ago I plugged it into my friends TV and it worked perfectly right away. I know the HDMI cable I have works fine because I use it for my Xbox all the time and it works perfectly and with no issues. So maybe it's the TV? I'm not sure. But as a side not, I have tried hooking it into another TV in my house and it doesn't seem to work on that one either. Could anyone help me out with this as to why it might not be working?

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
Make sure that the APEX Digital TV is switched to HDMI source
On your Yoga make sure that you press f10 or Fn+f10 then choose Duplicate on the Screen option
Also try reinstalling this Graphics driver
Integrated Graphics Driver for 64-bit Windows
Hope this helps,

I have a problem on my Yoga and on my Lenovo U300s where HDMI doesn't work, but if you have the HDMI cable plugged in to the active monitor and restart with it plugged in, it will work when boots up. Maybe a different issue from yours. Good luck.

I have the same problem too. Tried 2 different HDMI devices, a 5 year old Samsung Plasma TV 42" and a 4 year old 22" LCD monitor having HDMI input. In both cases, nothing shows on the panels. (Yoga screen does change to different resolution though, so something is detecting) After a few seconds my TV display changes from "weak signal" (the default response) to "incompatible signal" so it knows it's getting something, but it aiin't right. I've hooked up the TV to at least 3 other HDMI devices and all display fine. This is the first time I've seen incompatible signal.
Do you think there could be a NTSC/PAL issue, or other freqency setting in Yoga?
Yes, monitor setting was on duplicate. (Yoga toggles through the options properly) Yes, cable works fine.

I had this problem trying to connect the Yoga 13 into my Samsung UN40EH500 TV. The TV didn't register that I had plugged in an HDMI device. But I had a USB external hard drive plugged into the TV as well. I unplugged the USB and the HDMI was recognized. Then I plugged the USB back in again, and it was recognized as well. Go figure.
