Yoga 13 Win 8 power management

I have set power management so the display goes off ater 60 minutes but it (and sound) still goes off within a couple of minutes. I don't mind the display going off but I would like to still hear programs and program streams. How do I resolve this issue? What other power changes can I make to help resolve this issue? (I am not on battery power.)

Thank you.

Re: Yoga 13 Win 8 power management

hi n6neb1,

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.

Can you try to Disable Sleep and Hibernation Settings under the power options and see if the display or the system still goes off after a couple of minutes.

Let me know your findings

Cheers

Re: Yoga 13 Win 8 power management

my lenovo yoga 700 has never followed the windows 10 power settings..since i bought this thing.

the only way to get it to work is to set the screen saver up , but then that goes on and it doesnt always turn off the monitor and never goes to sleep at the time i set. super unreliable. did all the troubleshooting and updated all drivers and never works. Had a very experienced IT guy work on it and didnt fix the issue.  awful experience for me and a ton of wasted time.
