Same thing happened to me a few months ago (gen 1 Yoga 13). My battery eventually got to the point where it couldn't hold a charge. Had to send it in to get a new battery.

Following this issue. I am shocked that Lenovo has not come up with an answer. This is NOT an isolated issue. I am running a Yoga 13 with Windows 8.1 and the updated May BIOS. System indicates at 90% and charging, but it is not going further. So Lenovo, can you help or not? And if not, do I make a warranty claim now and will it be covered?

I am having the exact same problem since upgrading to Windows 8.1. I called lenovo support and we worked on the issue for about 2 hours before they suggested doing a 1Key recovery. I determined that would not be ideal for me, so they suggested sending it for repair. Sounds like they are not sure what is going on. The support representative from Lenovo did disclose that they are getting a lot of calls about this.
I would be willing to send my laptop off to Lenovo engineers if it would help in diagnosing and solving the problem. Please let me know what I can do.

Just to help escalate the issue, seeing same problem here as well.
Same symptoms as described by everyone in the thread.
Running 8.1, but don't think the problem started right after the upgrade.

I am also having this problem. Once it hits 90%, it won't charge anymore. I'm not techy like the rest of you -- so I really need help in this forum to get this resolved. This unit is only 1 year old. Should not be happening.

Did anyone manage to find a solution to our problem? My yoga2pro is at 92% and battery gauge reset doesnt seem to work. I even left the laptop on during 2 nights but nothing changes.
