Re: Yoga 13" Clementine Orange - Mini review

I'm just saying, it's a very faint noise that I never hear until I'm in my completely silent basement at night. I've been training to make myself not hear it with my second Yoga because I want to keep this for sure and it's going pretty good so far. It's such a high frequency noise that a lot of people aren't even going to hear it, regardless of age.

I didn't run the hotfix because when I loaded up file explorer, I saw my C drive was ~188 gigs free and D drive (that holds the lenovo utilities and drivers) was ~40 gigs. Seeing how a formated 256gb drive is about 238gb and adding the capacity of both partitions was 'close enough' to a single drive, I figured I didn't need to apply the hotfix.

Although, I do find the ~40gig partition to be a little excessive for a small amount of files.

Thanks for the info.  I guess I won't run the hotfix then.  I guess I can live with 188GB free - I plan to store some stuff in the cloud anyway.  Just found out my Yoga was delivered this morning!  They were off by a day on the estimated delivery but at least it's here!

I installed the hotfix on my 256 and it worked perfectly.  I actually installed it because windows wouldn't let me enlarge the d drive.  I like storing all my data on the d drive so I can wipe c clean whenever I feel like it without losing my files.  I then repartitioned it with a larger d drive.  Probably no need to do it that way but it's an old habit.

Did you notice how much you gained in overall space of A plus d? I wanna do just like you did, but think i should wait till i have more c programs made known to onekey backup. Then hotfix apparently wont strangle my backup space but leave even more room to grow. Recovery isnt some distant thing you do when ready... mine just blew away all of my c because a spotify install clobbered windows and it restored without asking me. I think the d drive saved me from losing everything.
