I have a Yoga 14 (Windows 10 original install). Whenever I connect a second monitor, the display on the second monitor is not sharp at all and has a strange contrast. I am using a HDMI to VGA converter and wonder if that is part of the issue. I have tried several adjustments to the display of the second monitor (2 different monitors) with no appreciable improvement in display. I wonder if it is the translation between on screen being touch and the other not.

Does it make any difference if you run in extended vs duplicate mode?

When I duplicate the display, it is better, but that is only because the text on the second monitor (Gateway GTW KX2153) is larger. The colors are still off. The text is sharper, but that is mainly a result of the larger text. Which is what I have been doing on the second monitor - setting text to 150 to improve clarity. By the way I have gone throught the color calibration, ClearType, etc. trying to resolve.
