I'm having the intermittent wifi connection issues / problems on Realtek RTL8723BE on my yoga 2 13 and have noticed a newer driver posted here by Lenovo for Thinkpad s440, s540:

My Intel 7260BN works okay now given the link provided above by jprennes. However it's still quite slow. I was wondering if any clarity had arisen about what or where to buy a better Wifi card? I see it's available in Europe but haven't located any US suppliers.

I've not posted here before and just registered to let you guys know I seem to have fixed this so I hope my input help others facing this issue.
When I got the Yoga, it has the Realtek RTL8723BE (FRU 04X6025 PN 20200570) in it. No matter what I did, I just couldn't get it anything decent/stable out of the connection. I also tried a TP-Link wireless dongle but this didn't help matters much.
Following the advice on Andy_Lenovo's post, I bought a Intel 7260 N (FRU 04W3830 PN 20200409) card on Ebay, and it seems to be working fine now. I am quite far from the router here and through several thick walls and I can still download a torrent at 1.2 MB/s, which is actually better than I can get on my 15" Samsung. The connection still seems to drop occasionally but this might be down to my ISP being Virgin Media, who are awful. At very least, it's functional.
For those of you who are looking to get the Intel Wifi card, this is where i got it from...
I have no affiliation to them at all, but thought the link would help. They were very fast and helpful both with responsing to my questions asking them to confirm the exact specification of the card and in sending a fully working part to the UK from the USA in 6 days.
Lenovo... I sure hope you guys are working to make sure things like this never happen? Your customers pay good money... try to actually provide them with fully functional devices for this money.
Anyway, sincrely hope this helps.
Take care all.
