2. The accuracy of the information above. This is the first time I am doing this. Future updates may restrict the approved cards. Also, I manually converted each code above into the proper format. Hence the potential for error is there. Proceed at your own risk.

Before buying a card:  refer to the raw 8 digit code and do the following:

To recreate the PCI/VEN, invert each number pair.

Example: 

86802B42 = 8086 422B

Then place it in the proper format
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_422B

Finally, research the respected Device ID to ensure the one listed above is correct. Once confirmed, you must buy a FCC approved M.2 form factor (I BELIEVE YOU NEED AN M.2 CARD.... BUT I DON'T OWN A Y2, I own a Y2P.... So google it or read this thread) of that card. If one does not exist, then look for another card. Just because the BIOS supports the card, does not mean that the card was made into a M.2 form factor.

Remember opening your computer and buying a wifi card that may not work is/was YOUR OWN CHOICE!

Guys, based on the above BIOS extraction, Mark_Lenovo was right. The 7260 AC WiFi cards have been whitelisted!

Please post a picture of your wifi card if it is not working on your computer.

Looks almost identical to the Y2P whitelist O.o..... Mind you, this is based on the new BIOS.

I would like to add my standard Realtek RTL8723BE card to the list.

Windows tells
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&SUBSYS_B73617AA&REV_00
So it should appear in the BIOS white list as:
EC 10 23 B7
B replacing the 8 as the manufacturer id?

It would be very helpful if someone would post these ID info,
that has done the trick with mounting a standard Intel 7260AC card witj the Yoga in sleep mode.....

Yeah I only had the intel start codes. I will try to find the Realtek now.

Show me your device manager Device ID (from within windows).
