I bought this card:
Broadcom BCM94352Z NGFF 802.11AC 867Mbps wireless wifi network card + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter
Y50-80 Touch/Y YOGA 3 PRO 1370
It works perfectly with the latest BIOS on my Lenovo Yoga 2 13 model 20344. Thank you all in the forums for the help.

Thank you all so much for all the posts. After reading all 45 pages I went ahead and ordered the broadcom card from ali express. It was about £20 UK and I thought it was worth a punt. It was free shipping to the U.K. and took about 10 days. It was a really simple swap and my wifi has doubled on 2g speeds and it's about 5 times faster on 5g!!!!. I'm hoping it will also help with the dropping and disconnecting.
I did not need to download drivers, a restart and it all just worked. SO happy! I was seriously just going to buy a new laptop as this had been a constant issue since I bought it.
Incidentally I had the newer realtek card not the Intel.
Hope this info helps!

I hope that you can help me, I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 13 and that Realtek wifi card is killing me so I purchased Intel 7260NGW NGFF Card as below and installed on 1.17 BIOS 96CN31WW(V1.17) 8/12/2015 and it DID NOT work message is Unauthorized card.
What can I do now? please help

Thank you very much for sharing such valuable experiences. I also have a yoga 2 13 which made me hate the Lenovo itself at all.
I would like to ask if there is any seller currently selling any compatible Broadcom or Intel cards. All of the former links are already dead and I couldn't find any working one.
The current wifi card I have is a 20200554. There is almost no seller for an Intel 20200617. There are some sellers for a Broadcom BCM94352Z but I'm not sure which one could work at all... I appreciate any help!
Lenovo again? NEVER
