thanks for the info with the new BIOS update ...
nevertheless it doesn't fix the issue with the "dead" Realtek card and sadly :-( it doesn't allow the use of the original Intel 7260.NGWWB card.
Maybe this BIOS only whitelist the "branded" version which I will not receive before the 28th of this month.
Let's hope the best
... again thanks for the info

Again, there is no such thing as Lenovo branded intel cards. As long as the Intel card is FCC approved, it should work on a properly whitelisted BIOS (which Mark claims the update has).
And what do you mean "original Intel 7260.NGWWB"? Did yours initally come with an AC wifi card? ...Or is this a single band N card? I ask cuz the model number is shared accross both cards.

I upgraded the new BIOS and my Intel 7260 ac card isn´t in the whitelist.... So why Lenovo don´t delete this stupid whitelist ID´s for Wifi cards???
I hope anyone is smart enough and can do a modded version for us...

... not to make someone angry (for whatever) ... I will call it "Lenovo spare part" in the future ... if this is ok for you?
The "Lenovo spare part" I ordered is called "Lenovo WP2 ac HMC Fix 04X6010" which is sold here in Austria for 90€
The other card (original Intel ... if this description is suiteable) is called Intel Dual Band Wireless - AC 7260 (7260.NGWWB) ... I can send you a picture if you need to see it ... is about 26€
I hope this description is now suiteable ;-)

Still waiting for a success story with any other card except the rubbish called 7260 single band/singe stream.

It´s not the big thing to read assembler code, to manage that hidden tabs are shown is only to set a bit from 0 to 1...
But my biggest problem is to change the code from the cut i´ve posted before...
I would look to see if there are some changes in unlocked bios i can make to this **bleep**ty whitelist feature... But for now i can say i´m on work........but i think i need more help at the whitelist...
The same thing is when you look at the first pic, you can see i built in a standard hight (7mm) Samsung EVO 840 with standard Sata pins, many people here was saying that it´s not fitting because there´s a lenovo specific port for the standard hdd that won´t fit on a standard ssd.... (that´s not true and completly **bleep**...)
