Okay. That's not a solution. Totally negates having a SSD laptop. Does anyone have a real fix to this?

SOLUTION! I've been trying to get this solved for months. It's the Intel Management Engine Interface. The one installed by default with Windows 10 doesn't work with the Yoga 2 13.

Download (from Lenova Support) and install the Windows 10 driver for IMEI:

Overwrite the newer version driver, and voila... I've had a dozen successful shutdowns for the first time since last Fall.
