Hi all,

it appears that you edited your post that expressed how complicated your instructions may be for some members. Thank you for your contributions. The issue is not that the information is too complicated, but that it needs to be better organized.

This topic started almost a year ago with a question about why Lenovo did not test Yoga 2 Pro for the Anniversary Update. Since then it has gone in many different directions. Unfortunately, that happens often with forum discussions as members add new questions and pieces of information. It is helpful if members begin a new topic when they have an unrelated question.

Regards,

Bugbatter

Any plans to do a 1803 version of the driver list?

I've also solved the flashing screen issue without Energy Manager by opening the Intel Graphics Options program that came with the Windows Update driver, selecting Power>Battery and disabline "Panel Self-Refresh" and had no more issues with flashing screen since.

Hi JoshuaP,

Disable "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel\Panel Self-Refresh" doesn't fix the flickering/flashing screen issue.
It still happening from time to time and battery will drain faster. "Lenovo Energy Manager" provided in this discussion is the ONLY 100% solution.
If I will do a updated driver list for Windows 10 April 2018 (1803)? Maybe in a near future, 1803 isn't reliable yet and has a lot of bugs running on different vendors/models.

Note: My current driver list will keep Y2P working well until then.

Regards,

@Birraque

Holy mackerel! What a writeup and thanks for posting all the helpful suggestions. I'm going to try the 8.1 pro route and if it doesn't work, I will come back here.

What a useful post. Randomly bumping. I have a Yoga 2 Pro that's been a pain with 1803, i'm hoping a BIOS upgrade fixes it, kept getting a BSOD after imaging and updates so I disabled updates and finally have BIOS up to date no BSOD yet.

Biraque, do you have a current list?  This post is over a year old and I'm having Bluetooth issues again.

Thanks, this is great, however, I am windows 8.1 and I have way too many pieces of software installed to just up and move to windows 10.

I dont have any of the flickering issues. my only issue ATM is the GPU overheating just by simple browsing, at the moment with nothing else open its running at 76c! I tried downloading the graphics drivers directly from intel but every time i try to install them they come back with an error to download them from the manufacturer. I am on i7-4510U

Do you know where to download the drivers that will work for me?
