Not sure what the mainpoints are but most of this looks like the Yoga Charger.

Model : ADLX65SDC2A

LI PN : 45N0357

FRU PN :  45N0358

INPUT 100-240v~1.5A 50-60hz

OUTPUT 20v 3.25A

But it also has

Consumo de energia: 74.45Wh

Which is why I think its 75W.  Maybe wrong.

Either way I have decided to try this from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00E1LNMAO

If it works great, if not, less money wasted.

Ill report back

I'll report back but, I too am taking a gamble on this:

Reporting back,

This works very well.  Despite the claim it gets just as hot as the original Lenovo charger but otherwise works perfectly.  The USB charging socket is a nice touch and it does charge at full rate. (Tested with Practical Meter)

I still cant say for sure if the original charger is 65w or 75w, but this 65w charger works.

This should mean most of the others we have all been looking at will be ok as well.

65W is output power (3.25A*20V)
75W is input power consumption
The difference is because there is an efficiency of voltage conversion, 10W is lost (heat mainly).
Anyway, 65W output is what matters.

Hi Guys!

Newbie here. I would just like to ask anyone from you experiencing this error after you plugged in the charger? Thanks in advance

Nope, and I have been using a generic $15 cable set for about 5 days already.

Is the USB charging port on the Yoga 2 Pro there to charge external devices or to charge the actual laptop?

Does anyone know how to charge the yoga 2 pro via USB? Are there any special adapters or cables needed?

1. It's for charging external USB devices.

2. It's not possible.
