Hi, thank you for your post! Can you upload a photo of the issue to this thread, please? How much sticks out? Thanks very much. I want to buy a yoga but still waiting and reading about issues...

Can someone tell me if the SD Card protrudes or is flush when inserted into the card slot on a Yoga 2 Pro? If it does protrude, how far does it stick out?
Also, does the Y2P support SDXC or just SDHC cards?

I hope someone gives this a shot:
If this works, it could be a cheap way to add extra space to the Y2P.
The cheapest alternative I found:
Waiting for my lenovo to ship. Knowing this company, it will take 1-2 months to get it. Anyone wants to try this out?
If it works nicely, please link to the one you used, with measurements and pictures (again, please ).
I hope I made someone's day today. Cause if this works, we have to buy cheap microSD cards to exapand our HDD .
Now the qestion is, does the lenovo webbook SD slot have the same depth as the lenovo Yoga 2?

Minidrives: It looks like most of these are about 2.1cm (21mm) to 2.3cm (23mm) long. From what I can tell, it looks like the Yoga 2 Pro SD slot is about 1.75cm (17.5mm) long, so all of these "mini" adapters are still going to stick out of the slot quite a bit. And with the Y2P being wider than the average 13-inch notebook, I'm just barely managing to squeeze it into whatever case I'm using. So, unless someone comes out with an even shorter version, this isn't going to be too satisfying.
The concept is extremely sound, though -- I've got a little Acer S7 11-inch notebook, which has a flush-fitting MicroSD card slot, and with its 128 SSD capacity, I just use a 64 GB microSD card to hold all of my "data" files, not touching the internal SSD at all. It's just a fabulous way to deal with small SSD capacities.
So, great idea, but I'm sure we would want an adapter that's quite a bit shorter than these Mac-based things.
