I have seen the very long thred on this that the mods have locked.
Does anyone know if Lenovo is still working to actually fix this issue? After the Bios update and energy manager driver, I guess it is slightly better, but for sure NOT yellow. This has also been described on loads of tech review sites, so I know it is not just me.
I have seen a few other of these treads be deleted as well. Are we not supposed to ask about this, what I would consider to be, major issue??
Does anyone have any more uptodate info which is newer than the last official release of the bios? I would really love to see the color yellow again on this 1600€ machine.

Welcome to Lenovo Forums
In Energy Manager, click the rocket icon to enable Performance mode as in the below image
(Note: if this is the first time you have launched Energy Manager, swipe left through the introductory screens then tap OK to see the screen right).
Please get back to us after doing this

Me too. I bought the Yoga 2 Pro primarily for use with my photography. Whilst the supposed fixes have may be improved things a little on full powerr, it is still more a green than yellow.... very disappointing on an otherwise great machine

I have installed the recommended BIOs update and energy management update to correct the inaccurate display of yellow on the Yoga 2 Pro. I just received this machine and contacted lenovo tech support to update this software
These updates did not solve my color issue on my Yoga 2 Pro 13. Other people have said it solved it for them but it has not solved it for me...I am wondering if this is an issue that can not be resolved since what I have read seems to indicate that this color issue may be inherent to the display. I noticed that it is particularly bad when using powerpoint. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated as I really like this device but if I cannot correct the color issue it is a deal breaker.

I too am having issues with yellows and oranges on the new Yoga 2 Pro received Monday (i7/8GB/256GB from Best Buy).
The unit shipped with the most current BIOS (when I try to update the BIOS it tells me that it is the same as the one installed). I've updated Energy Manager and set it to Performance.
Yellows are mustard-ish, what should be vibrant orange is orange-brown.
I love everything else about the unit thus far, but the color is driving me nuts.

Dear Lenovo (moderator: Mark_Lenovo)
THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED - ONLY MARGINALLY IMPROVED - SO PLEASE DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR ON YOUR CUSTOMERS.
Yes - the BIOS, power update & disabling of adaptive screen dimming made quite an improvement, however the display still falls far short of what I would consider an acceptable representation of yellow.
Try highlighting a line of code in Excel and you will still get a sickly yellow-green rendition of yellow. Horrible.
Are you (Lenovo) still working on a solution or by stating the problem is solved and shutting down the parallel thread you are telling us this is the best you can (or are prepared to) do?
