I have recently bought a yoga 2 pro, and Im suffering disconnect every 3-5 minutes while streaming Netflix. So I have ordered the new replacement card as requested in this forum.

Is it correct that after you have replaced the card the regularly dropouts stops?

For 90% of people who upgraded it eliminated the problem. You should have a much higher chance of resolving WiFi issues with the upgrade.

I changed the wifi card, and bought a new router. Now everything is working 100% perfect. So easy to do!

Thanks for the advice!

Now I just need to figure out how to get max out of the battery

One point.  The Yoga 2 13 comes with a 500GB HDD with 8GB SSD which still doesn't match SSD speeds but my system typically boots from off with 15 seconds and wakes up in less that 5 seconds - pretty darn quick.  I'd have to agree that the 1080P display is perfectly fine for a large percentage of users, especially on such a small screen.

All-in-all I'd have to say that I very please with the Yoga 2 13.

does changing the wifi cards void the warranty? is there anyway to remove the sticker without breaking it?

I believe this does void the warranty.

Regarding your sticker question...... I was able to carefully lift off the sticker without tearing it and remove the old chip.  I left the sticker on the old chip.

I figured if there was a warranty issue, I would reinstall the old chip (w/ sticker) and return.
