Thanks to everyone for their help! I ended up getting the M.2 AC card from a seller on eBay. It works great and speeds are much faster. I just wish Lenovo would have speced this card standard on the Yoga 2 Pro. Now, this machine really rocks!

Did you upgrade to the newer BIOS? I just installed the new wireless ac card and I'm getting a message immediately after turning it on that says "unauthorized network card detected. Power off and remove". So the computer can't boot with the new card.

Does anyone know if swapping this out for the 5 ghz card will void your warranty?

I am also getting this error.  I think the Ebay seller may have sent me the incorrect card though.  It says

Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260

Model: 7260NGWAN

I purchased this laptop to do Wireless Site Surveys using Tamograph Site Survey.  The AC version of the 7260 is the only version that is supported by the software so if I can't get this card working I guess the Yoga 2 Pro needs to go back to Best Buy.

I contacted Lenovo tech support and they told me that Lenovo does not support any upgrades.  This is very frustrating.  I researched this before purchasing the Yoga 2 Pro and others said they had success.  Has anyone tried got the AC card to work with the latest 76cn31ww BIOS?

Re: Yoga 2 Pro WiFi Replacement Cards????

I'm having the "Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in." error. I went with this card: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GN3CBL4/ I also requested a whitelist removal for the BIOS on bios-mods.com. What's strange to me is that the AC cards are working for some people but not others. Any ideas or better ways to circumvent the whitelist? Or any chance Lenovo could provide a BIOS that either doesn't have the whitelist or explicitly allows the dual band AC card? The only failing of the Y2P is the single band N WiFi card...

Maybe you have the updated BIOS that has whitelist out of factory. On early Y2P models, the previous BIOS don't have the whitelist and that's how they were able to swap to 7260AC.

Yeah, I'm running BIOS 76cn31ww since it supposedly helps with the yellow image stuff. Is it possible to downgrade, have the WiFi card be recognized, then upgrade? Also, if they have an old version without the whitelist, why add it to the latest BIOS? That's an obnoxious decision on Lenovo's part.

You have to follow this thread here: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Request-Lenovo-Yoga-2-Pro-76cn31ww-Whitelist-Removal

Just need to wait for the smart alecks there to release the BIOS without the whitelist. My Y470 came without the whitelist so I was able to upgrade to Intel 7260N agn without issues.
