So I've been able to correct most of the bugs on the Y2P since my switch to Win 10. My biggest lingering issue is the screen flashing when I take it on battery power. All of my drivers are up to date. I think that I've narrowed down the issue for any of you that may also be having this problem.
1. Windows 10 comes with a battery saver option, this is an option that works very well on its mobile devices.
2. Our Eneregy Manager hasn't been updated from .51 as of yet.
3. The EM is clashing with the Win 10 battery saver software.
This makes me think that the problem is compatibility between the OS and the EM software. I don't want to delete the EM because I use the Conservation Mode as my primary which has done wonders for my battery since I've had this ultrabook. I've disabled Battery Saver on Win 10 but the problem still occurs. Has anyone contacted Lenovo about this?
The second bug is with the new Win 10 touchpad driver available on Lenovo's site. It did fix the scrolling issue that wasn't happening after I upgraded but now on Chrome and Word it just starts zooming in with the scrolling action. Is there any way to report bugs like this to Lenovo and is anyone else having that issue?
Also the Graphics Driver on the Y2P downloads page is not the most current and neither is the Wifi driver. If anyone needs help upgrading those properly send me a message and I'll give you info on how to do it.

So were you able to fix the screen flicker issue? I've tried updating about everything I can. Drivers from both the Lenovo site and part manufacter's sites and nothing seems to help. Definitely started for me after the Win10 upgrade and also when on battery.
Please help someone!

Has Lenovo responded to the Black Flashing screen issue? I also get this when not plugged in... and after Windows 10 update, though, not immediately after.

I am surprised there are so other threads on this topic, and nothing recently. I continue to have this problem even with the most recent build of Windows 10.
Only on battery power, and always after a set time delay - I'm guessing 20 minutes. I have checked all settings and nothing is set to activate at 20 minutes.
Restarting the system fixes it - for another 20 minutes.
I'm trying to uninstall the Lenovo Energy Manager now, duh, never occurred to me to try that.
Anyone else find an answer?

Try to update your Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver with 'Windows Update' latest version (220.127.116.1131):
Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400
I'm also recommend replace Lenovo 'WLAN' and 'BT' drivers for Intel latest version (19.50.1):
For ALL OTHER drivers I strongly recommend keep installed Lenovo (Windows 10 x64) versions:
Windows 10 64 bits - Yoga 2 Pro Laptop (Lenovo)
Lenovo forgot Yoga 2 Pro costumers long time ago without solved many issues.
My Yoga 2 Pro is running Windows 10 (14393.969) smooth with above drivers but screen flashing bug still happens once a month. Lenovo Energy Manager isn't guilty for this issue!

Another update - I removed the Lenovo Battery Manager, and this greatly helped. The screen flashing used to happen very consistently after a set time, now it seems less common.
But it still happens! So what does this mean.

Question for others on this list with the Yoga 2 Pro computer running Windows 10:
- Do you use the computer very often on battery for extended amounts of time?
- If so, have you had the screen flash off and on after an hour or so of using it on battery?
Any observations about the conditions at the time? The settings on the computer?
I sometimes give presentations using the computer as a tablet, using WiDi for the second display. The WiDi display doesn't flash, only the tablet. However, if I am connected using HDMI both displays flash together, indicating to me that it is an issue with power saving in the internal display. Yet I can't find any setting in the advanced power settings area that affects it.
I will try changing the Intel Graphics setting (in the Advanced drop down lists from Control Panel) to Maximum Performance next.
Anyone who has found a solution to this, it should would be nice to hear about it.

For others suffering this problem, I may have found a solution in Windows 10:
- Remove Lenovo battery manager
- Go to windows advanced power settings:
. Settings / System / Power & Sleep
- Scroll down to Related Settings, and tap / click 'Additional Power Settings'
This takes you to the old power plans in Control Panel. You can also get here quicker if you have a link to Control Panel, which has been removed from the right-click start menu in the Creators Update.
So, for the selected plan you are using, click 'Change plan settings' then select 'Change advanced power settings.'
Whew, it's really burried in there . . .
- Now, scroll down to the 'Intel(R) Graphics Settings' and expand it.
- Expand 'Intel Graphics Power Plan.'
- for the On Battery setting, change to 'Maximum Performance.'
- Click 'Apply' in the window, then click 'Save Changes' in the plan settings window.
This will likely reduce battery life a little, but what use is long battery life if the screen starts flashing off on you, right? So far I have watched a movie on battery, and ready magazines and books for more than 2 hours with no flashing screen.
Let me know if this works for you!

Another update - bad news, the screen flashing came back!
I used the computer for more than a week with the settings set as I mentioned earlier with no screen flashing issues. Plenty of use on battery only, in tablet and laptop configuration, no problems. Then it came back again.
I checked the power plan settings, no change. Lenovo power manager still not installed.
<sigh> no solution in sight.

Sure would be nice to hear of a solution to this. Surely it is a graphics driver / power profile issue that could be solved!
