I tried to turn on my computer today and nothing happened, only the keyboard backlight flashes every 3 seconds. I tried holding down the power button for various amounts of time (30s, 60s, 90s) and the keyboard stops flashing, that's it.
I'm running Windows 10 and there was an update a couple days back. I'm not sure if that's relevant at all.
Any help on getting my notebook up and running again would be great. Thanks!

Hi there, Dem -
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
You can also start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 15 seconds.
It would help reseating the hard drive & memory modules (remove and check the contacts and place it back in).
Update us how it goes.
Tap that kudos button if I helped

I am experiencing the same problem with the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro keyboard flashing which appears to be in hybernate mode. The back of the computer is screwed on preventing access to the battery. I have tried a different AC power adapter, no power adapter, holding down the power key for 30 seconds which shuts down however when restarted the key board flashes on and off. Screen is black.
This happened about a month ago and then went away. Now it back again.
Is there a way to start up the laptop?

Hi I also have this same issue. I have disassembled the laptop and removed the battery, CMOS battery, also hard drive but still see the same issue. Memory is onboard.
Is there any way to resolve this?

I have the same issue. I have removed back cover, unplugged battery, disconnected CMOS connector to reset BIOS and removed hard drive. Without plugging battery back in, as soon as I plug in AC adapter the keyboard and power button LED flash once then off, and the cycle starts again..... I have done extensive research and some people had their motherboard replaced and that fixed the issue. My machine is out of warranty, and out of Geek Squad protection also. Any solutions from anyone??
