Yoga 3 1370 power cord or adapter on notebook?

2018-02-20, 17:13 PM

Everyday it gets a little harder to get the my Yoga 3 to charge. The adapter plugs in fine but I don't get the plug symbol next to the batter icon without a lot of blowing and holding it just right. Once it's in and begins to charge there are no problems. I don't have to hold the cable a certain way or anything. I don't want to wait until I can't charge my notebook to take care of this. Is there any precedence for this problem? Do I need to get a new cable or is the problem the adapter in the notebook?

Depends on one small thing. If you hold the socket ( not the cable ) to fit it properly, the socket may be loose.

If you need to hold the cable and twist it in some way, it mean that you'd need adaptor replace but in any case, I believe you'd need to contact the support for replacement. One thing that, you may need to write a note how it works and how it doesn't work.
