Yoga 3 Pro hardware result code: wme800800-um7cfg

2017-08-23, 1:10 AM

I've look all over the lenovo website and can't find where they list what the result codes mean. I got an error code regarding memory, result code: wme800800-um7cfg

Can someone tell me what the code means?

The codes are of little use to the end user, but the easiest way to find out what the error code is referring to is to check the actual log that was created during the scan, which you can do by opening the Lenovo Solutions Center, selecting Hardware Scan, and rather than launching a new scan, selecting See last results ,which will open the previously created log to be viewed.    From there you can see what test failed, and click on "Device Information" to expand the details relating to the target of each test.

With the log open, you can also select the 3.5" diskette icon in the upper right to save the log as a file.

It probably means that some of your RAM failed the "quick random pattern test" and if so it should be replaced.

Good Luck,
