Thank you Ms. Tupper, I will try it this evening.   May I suggest that you consider moving this post to the front of the forum as well.

Re: Yoga 3 Pro lmcfrundll.exe Run Problem, how to fix?

My Lenovo Settings Dependency Package is version 2.3.3.33 dated 10/20/2014.  Although Amy's workaround does not seem to apply to me based on version number, I still have the same issue as everyone else.

My version number seems strange since the version number is higher but with an older date.

Should i attempt the workaround anyway........any thoughts?

Jim_mickleson, I am aware of another forum member running release V.2.3.3.33 who successfully used the work-around to return to V.2.3.1.28 and stop the error messages.

Thanks Amy.  I did the workaround and everything seems to be operating normally.  No errors on startup.

Thank you so very much, notgeorge, for your detailed instructions! I really appreciate them, and I was able to follow them. I haven't yet disabled the final Lenovo files yet, though (although, as mentioned before, I did remove the dependency package), as I've now been seeing some new ideas come down the pike.

So... Would it be possible for you to supply me with some more advice?

I also saw the thing about renaming the "imcfrundll.exe" file. Should I try that, as well, or instead? I did a search for the file, I admit, and didn't find it... :smileyembarrassed:

I also saw the thing that Amy_Lenovo put out. Has anyone tried that? I downloaded the new Dependency Pkg exe file, but then thought better of running it--do we know that Amy_Lenovo is legit?

Thanks again, notgeorge, and everyone, for your help and discussion of this issue.

If you disabled Lenovo Settings Dependency you don't need to rename the file.

To answer your other question, I tried Amy's fix. No problem here. Yes, Amy is legit. :smileyhappy:

Thank you, Amy. I had the Lenove Settings Dependency Package 2.3.3.33 too and the ininstall and workaround seems to have addressed the lmcfrundll.exe problem.

I just ran the temporary fix for my Yoga 3 Pro and the warings have gone. Can you advise an estimated timeframe before a corrected release will be avialable?

Amy: I applied the work around that you suggested.  I have also uninstalled and re-installed One Key Optimiser.  The messages have gone - fine!  HOWEVER: The battery is still not charging - even though OKO says that it is.  Are you fixing this or just the annoying messages?
