a few days ago, all my usb ports stopped working (not reading any usb, phone or other devices when plugged but charging works fine). I tried some of the solutions online such as resetting the BIOS, deleting the drivers from the device manager then reinstalling and using the troubleshoot tool but none worked so far. Any help will be appreciated since I am at a dead end.
I am running windows 10 on a yoga 3 pro - 1370 machine
In device manager, under the USB controllers I have the root hub (xHCL), the composite device and intel 3.0 extensible host controller all working properly

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try to download Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
