Yoga 300-11IBY touchscreen not working after fresh Windows install

2016-12-11, 7:58 AM

I hae just reinstalled Windows on my Pentium Yoga 300-1IBY. Touchscreen worked before that, but none of Lenovo Yoga features did not. Functions like tablet mode with keyboard locking etc..

I have tried both Windows 10 Home and Pro, I don't get HID touchscreen in Device manager. I HAVE installed Lenovo Companion and Lenovo Settings, and all the updates they have offered.

Any idead would be appreciated :)

Thanks.

Hi NejcZ,

You need the recovery image from Lenovo to restore all the features to your machine. The Yoga Mode ETC are part of the image and not available separately.

That can't be.. What if I just decided to fresh install Windows, delete all Lenovo unnecesary partitions, to gain more space. Drivers should be avaliable.

I got touchscreen working with Intel I/O driver directly from Intel. So what you're saying is that there's no way to have all the Yoga features without getting recovery image from Lenovo. OK, where can I get it? :)
Thanks.
