Yoga 500 Monitor fault?

My Yoga 15IBD failed this morning, like that:

There are only 2 color purple and yellow

Power or restart, power on, then the last screenshot remian in the monitor for several minute until Login prompt.

The windows screen is mixed with the last session screen.

It is only 5 months old PC.

In case LCD fault it is replaced free of charge?

So disappointed I am going to travel Europe with it.

What to do now?

Re: Yoga 500 Monitor fault?

I ve taken it to the shop and they advice me that it is better I take it to service.

They also recommend me to remove decorating stickers like below

Will it void the Pc warranty?

Well, last month the machine bluetooth had been fixed without concern.

THis time is the IPS display, howwver the sticker is in the rear of the IPS panel but very small

And I didnt drop the PC ever since

Is the sticker affect monitor?

Re: Yoga 500 Monitor fault?

If the sticker is a concern then I would just remove it.  I suspect the "shop" advised you to remove them so that "service" wouldn't think you damaged the screen by using too much pressure to adhere the stickers.

Re: Yoga 500 Monitor fault?

Well, a good reasoning. I really dont want to remove the stickers. They have been working good since day one.

I have taken the laptop around with me to events, where I get Lenovo contacts in person. Removing the stickers would make leftover glue. As I remember, the monitor dillemma just happend right after a BSOD. May the cause be on the graphic chip? Now the monitor is even worst, it dim and black at the conners.

Re: Yoga 500 Monitor fault?

I remove them all. I have been using an Asus for 2 years until now and I sometime put it up side down in the table or leave books on it without any matter. If some adhere pressure is flaw. I'd rather Lenovo publish some official guideline of the measurement, especially for 2-in-1 serie. Which the prefered working mode is tablet.
