OK, I see there are similar posts but not sure if my issue matches those exactly. Appreciate your help if you can.
Cat has walked across keyboard .... as you can see I can type and use my fingers to move on and around screen but my touchpad won't work at all. All keys on the keyboard are working.
I've tried looking in the mouse/touchpad settings but not finding anything that seems to match suggestions.
What should I do?

Thank you - I tried your suggestions but didn't succeed ... my IT chap has this morning sorted it though ... so thank you for your efforts. Cat is now banned from my office at weekends!
