i am looking at getting a laptop for my 13 year old son which will be mostly used for school work (Microsoft office ) and browsing internet and no doubt he will also use it for you tube. So don’t need anything too powerful .
i have been looking at the yoga 530 14” Intel® Pentium™ 4415U (Dual Core, 2.3 GHz). I have never had a 2 in 1 laptop or a laptop one with a SSD drive.
However after looking around the idea of having a tablet / laptop combination with a quick start up looks appealing.
Would this model be a good choice for a 13 year old for someone that will be just running office and you tubing.
Also I have read something about the active pen 2. Is this worth getting and will it work with the yoga 530
Thanks in advance

Yoga 530 is a great choice. You can read more details here https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/yoga/500-series/Yoga-530-14-Intel/p/88YG5000978?ac=sgsph_ME&Cid....
The Active Pen will make editing, sketching and writing easier.
You can also check for other models here https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/c/LAPTOPS#type=TYPE_ATTR2 and filter your searches by uses, types or specs.
Hope this helps.
