Yoga 530 touch screen not working after 5 days

I just purchased a Yoga 530 on "Cyber Monday". First I was very happy with the performance and the design. After a few days of use, the touch screen just stopped working. I tried all the methods mentioned online like disabling the driver and enabling it again, restart, a fresh installment of the driver and even resetting Windows 10. Is there anything else I can try? Btw. the active pen still works somehow.

Welcome to the Lenovo community group! 

 

Kindly open the Lenovo Vantage app https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht505081?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6 and check for a system update, then install them all. After installing all the updates, restart the laptop and check the touchscreen again. Update us back with the result.

Lenovo vantage didn't find anything to update. Even Windows is up to date. 

I tried the safe boot method as well. Sadly without luck.

I have the same issue. Tried several drivers, tricks. Yoga 530-14IKB 81EK... Not a single response from the touchscreen.

Dear Lenovo

 

I have excatly the same problem, bought a Yoga 530, the touchscreen worked initially and then stopped working after a few days, the stylo is working perectly thugh.  

 

I have updated all drivers in my P.C, included th touch screen one, downloaded new Lenovo Bios and all Windows updates. Now my notebook is updated on all fronts but the touchscreen still does not work. 

 

Lenovo, can you please do somthing for me?

Sorry for the late update. I exchanged my notebook at the retailer. The new one does not have the issue so far. However, I started having trouble with the keyboard. A diagonal line of the keyboard does not work anymore. This is a typical sign for a loose cable. I will have to send it in for repairs. 

I am happy with the performance of the notebook but it's a bit annoying that the hardware keeps failing.
