Yoga 700 14isk touch screen is not working

hi

I'm using 'YOGA 700-14isk '

 the screen touch of the laptop is not working. I tried to do system recovery, install new drivers for graphic cards which it was suggested by an engineer at Lenovo and do all things I can do.

But all method is not a solution.

I just found an error message of the problem which is assumed and it is "Port_#0007.Hub_#0001" on 'device manager' (under 'human interface device')

Could you help me please T^T. I really hate to change my mainboard ..

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

For error message, Please follow the below steps:

 

In Device Manager right click on the the device or the unknown device ---> update drivers.

 

Point to ‘C:\Windows\winsxs

 

For touchscreen issue,

  1. Under theDevice ManagerHuman Interface Devices, can you do a right click and disable on anything that says HID-compliant device (this is the driver that controls the touchscreen). 
  1. When finished, reboot the system and observe if you still get the same issue.

 

Update us how it goes.

Thank you very much for your help.

I tried to do things you suggested. But sadly I can't do that. First, in the following [Device Manager> Human Interface Devices> HID-compliant device] I did a right click, I can see just 'update driver software', 'uninstall', 'scan for hard ware changes' and 'properties', and I can not see 'disable'.
So I click 'properties' and I looked at the message" Currently, This hardware device is not connected to rhe computer.(Code 45)" and the Location on 'USB Input device'.

I also tried to do update by your suggestions not only HID-compliant device by pointing to Point to ‘C:\Windows\winsxs but also other devices assumed such as HID-compliant touch screen and so on.

After that I did a right click USB Input device under 'Human Interface Devices'(I did update it, too) and 'properties', because the location of 'HID-compliant device' is indicated at 'USB Input device'. And then, I can see that the location at 'USB Input device' is "Port_#0007.Hub_#0001" and the Device status shows the message " Currently, This hardware device is not connected to the computer.(Code 45). To fix this problem, reconnect this software device to the computer."

that's all I did... I'm sorry for saying not happliy messages..haha

What I tried and 100% working for me is:

- go to Device manager > Human interface Devices >

- Looking for "USB Input Device" and right click on it.

- Select "Properties" and go to "Power Management" tab.

- UNcheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

- Click OK button and see miracle !!

 

Remark that the name "USB Input Device" may be something different , just guess for the closest name if it is not this name on your computer. Firstly I tried on the name "HID-compliant touch screen" but not working
