So a week or so my girlfriend's computer had a pop-up notification from Lenovo saying there was a BIOS update available. Clicked update. Now the computer doesn't recognize any HD present. You can enter the BIOS but that's it.
She took it to Best Buy's "Geek Squad" where they attempted to reinstall Windows, pulled out and tested the M.2 hard drive and concluded data "could not be recovered," tried a brand new M.2 drive but it too was not recognized in the BIOS. Their conclusion was that a new motherboard is needed.
My question is this: clearly this was caused by Lenovo providing a BIOS update, so what help can they provide me on this problem? How do I start a support ticket? I can't seem to find that option on their website.
Thanks for any help.
