Hi there, hopefuly someone from Lenovo is reading this. After a month of fairly using my Yoga 710 one night my screen just would not turn on. I connected it to TV via HDMI to find out if laptop works at all, and it did just fine, except the screen. So I brought it to my local authorized service, to check it out. Surprisingly my warranty claim got denied because of mechanical damage - frame of the laptop is bent. Check the pictures. I contacted the reseler where i bought my laptop and they denied to replace my laptop because of the damage which is done by me as they suspect. Laptop was used less than 50 times at home while handling it carefully, there is no way i could bent the frame of my laptop. So Lenovo, any solutions to this?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Seems that it fault on the LCD assembly due to the mechanical issue. It has been investigated by a Lenovo service center and that they have concluded that such is not covered by the hardware limited warranty as stipulated:
".. failure or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, natural disasters, power surges, improper maintenance, or use not in accordance with product information materials"
This is also the same conclusion from the store of purchase so at similar cases, it is the user that covers the cost for repair for both parts and labor not unless that you have purchased additional accidental damage warranty. You can try calling in technical support in your region for their recommendation.
